Politeia invites you to the eighth edition of\u00a0<\/span>Thinking Argentina<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em>\u00a0un ciclo de conferencias para estudiantes de grado\/posgrado y graduados. La edici\u00f3n 2022 tendr\u00e1 como eje el tema “Desaf\u00edos y oportunidades en un escenario de crisis” y contar\u00e1 con la presencia de destacados invitados del mundo acad\u00e9mico y de la pol\u00edtica. Do I have to be a Political Science or International Relations student to take part?<\/strong><\/p>

No! The event is aimed primarily at undergraduate students interested in academic perspectives on Political Science and International Relations, but you\u00a0do not need<\/strong>\u00a0to be studying those subjects to take part. Students from any field are welcome: from historians to future vets or civil engineers. You can also take part as a graduate student, or as a recent graduate or young professional.<\/p>

Is the event free, or is there a fee?<\/strong><\/p>

Taking part in the Conference is free. Lunch, however, is at the participant\u2019s own expense.<\/p>

The organization will cover three\u00a0coffee breaks.\u00a0<\/i>Adem\u00e1s, para obtener el Certificado de Participaci\u00f3n correspondiente se requiere la asistencia a 7 paneles como m\u00ednimo.<\/p>

Will there be\u00a0workshops\u00a0<\/em>this year?<\/strong><\/p>

No. While earlier editions of PensARG included them\u00a0workshops<\/em>, en 2022 nos enfocaremos completamente en charlas plenarias. No te preocupes: tendr\u00e1s muchas oportunidades para hacer preguntas e interactuar con los integrantes de paneles.<\/p>

Where will the Conference take place?<\/strong><\/p>

The event takes place on the campus of the University of San Andr\u00e9s. The address is\u00a0Vito Dumas 284, Victoria<\/a>. You will need to bring your ID to enter. The University maintains a page explaining\u00a0how to get there by public transport<\/a>.<\/p>

What should or can I bring?<\/strong><\/p>

Lo \u00fanico que necesit\u00e1s traer es tu DNI (o pasaporte para extranjeros), que deber\u00e1s usar para ingresar al campus. (Los estudiantes de UdeSA ingresan con su credencial). Pod\u00e9s traer tel\u00e9fonos y c\u00e1maras de foto, aunque Politeia se reserva el derecho de prohibir cualquier dispositivo en determinadas charlas. Tambi\u00e9n, como explica la pregunta de abajo, pod\u00e9s traer tu comida para el almuerzo.<\/p>

What lunch options will be available?<\/strong><\/p>

Participation does not include lunch, but participants may buy sandwiches or hot dishes at\u00a0the university cafeteria<\/a>. Cash, Visa debit and credit, and MercadoPago are accepted. You may also bring your own food and heat it in a microwave.<\/p>

I am coming from elsewhere in the country or from abroad. Can you help fund my travel or accommodation?

Politeia and the University of San Andr\u00e9s are not able to offer travel or accommodation to participants.<\/p>

I am an academic (including UdeSA faculty) or a professional and I would like to attend the talks. Can I sign up?<\/strong><\/p>

The Conference is aimed at students and recent graduates, but if you would like to take part or attend a particular talk you can write to us at politeia@udesa.edu.ar. University faculty are welcome to attend the talks, but for their own comfort we recommend letting us know in advance so that we can reserve space in the rooms.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
