Politeia’s Models are simulation experiences aimed at the practical training of secondary and university students. Through exercises in representation, debate, negotiation, and decision-making, participants gain first-hand insight into how international organizations, multilateral forums, and democratic institutions work.
Each Model offers a demanding and participatory academic experience. Students research a position, build arguments, engage with other delegations or representatives, negotiate agreements, and draft proposals on matters of public importance. In the process, they develop skills that are fundamental to their academic, professional, and civic paths: critical analysis, public speaking, formal writing, cooperation, leadership, and active listening.
Since its earliest editions, this strand of work has held a central place within Politeia. The Models combine the study of major contemporary debates with a practical, dynamic, and instructive method that makes it possible to learn through experience.
Model UN for Schools
A diplomatic simulation experience for students in their final years of secondary school, focused on debating contemporary international issues.
Inter-University Model
A simulation and debate forum for university students, designed to deepen training in diplomacy, negotiation, and decision-making.
Role Reversal
A legislative simulation that offers a first-hand look at parliamentary dynamics, the drafting of bills, and political negotiation.
