About Us

We bring you closer to politics. The perspective is yours.

About POLITEIA

Politeia is a nonpartisan, nonprofit student initiative at the University of San Andrés. We were founded to create spaces for debate, learning, and exchange on politics, international relations and public affairs, bringing students closer to the institutions, actors, and discussions that shape public life in Argentina and beyond.

Our mission is to encourage the active participation of young people in social and political life, both locally and internationally. To that end, we seek to narrow the gap between theory and practice: we believe university education is enriched when academic learning comes into contact with concrete experiences of deliberation, negotiation, analysis, and institutional dialogue.

Over the years, Politeia has established itself as one of the leading student spaces at the University for reflection and engagement around politics. We organize Model United Nations and diplomatic simulations, talks with public figures, institutional visits, the PensARG Annual Conference, and analytical content aimed at bringing public affairs closer to the university community.

Our work rests on three principles: rigor, plurality, and commitment.
RIGOR

Because every activity aims to be well prepared and to offer real educational value.

PLURALITY

Because we believe public debate needs to hear different perspectives.

COMMITMENT

Because we understand that student participation can be a concrete way of engaging with the challenges of our time.

Today, Politeia has a leadership team, area coordinators, and more than 180 volunteer members. Every activity we run is possible thanks to students who devote time, judgment, and effort to building a university community that is better informed, more engaged, and more connected to public life.
